Specializing in water damage restoration training, Hydro Lab features a flood house and commercial drying training center at our facility. Hydro Lab also provides continuing education courses to maintain your IICRC certification. Learning from industry leaders in specific fields of expertise, students have the opportunity to use and compare a wide range of restoration manufacturers’ equipment during our training classes. I enjoyed the hands on experience with the tools and different drying equipment. The instructor was knowledgeable with the equipment. However, some of the exam questions on the test were not discussed during class and I feel that the learning material was really rushed. I also did not agree with some of the techniques on drying that were being taught. Many of my peers also shared the same opinion. On a personal note, I found it very unappealing that the instructor chewed tobacco the whole time and spit into a cup every few minutes. Not really what I want to see while I'm trying to learn given the fact that my company had spent quite a bit of money for me to attend this ASD class. I strongly suggested to my supervisor that they send the next manager to a different ASD course.
