Why Should You Take This Exemplary Performance for LEED CI Projects Webinar?
Every exemplary performance option in the LEED for Commercial Interiors (CI) version 3.0 rating system with be covered in this 2-hour, intermediate-level webinar. The course identifies exemplary performance as a way of exceeding the requirements of existing credits in the rating system. This webinar will also describe how the points can be collected through the Innovation in Design category of the rating system.
At the end of this program, participants will be able to analyze the difference between Exemplary Performance opportunities and Innovation in Design applications within the LEED CI rating system, and identify ways to collect exemplary performance points within each category. Students will learn to compare the requirements of each credit in LEED CI to identify potential compliance paths, and apply this knowledge to real work case studies.

Jean Cipriano has a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. She is a member of ASID, and is a LEED AP. Jean has been the principal of her own firm for over 25 years and has consulted on projects for major corporations and universities. She always infuses her work with awareness and regard for the environment, and applies this philosophy toward the inhabitants of the buildings and spaces she designs. Even before becoming a LEED AP, these were her priorities in planning. Jean has instructed adults in all aspects of Interior Architecture, seeking to initiate, create and advance the philosophy of sustainability. Her intent is to bring awareness to the subject of sustainability and to integrate it into all of her opportunities as an instructor.
Jean enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and kayaking. While enjoying her time outdoors she's usually accompanied by her family and canine friend - a beautiful Westy named Sky.
