This Electrical Safety and Grounding webinar is intended to give field operations personnel in industrial and commercial operations, including power company field operations personnel, a comprehensive understanding of the theory behind safe electrical practices. Emphasis is on working around equipment commonly found within industrial, commercial and electric utility industries in both the energized and de-energized conditions.

This course also covers the fundamentals of "equipotential grounding" used for safe work activities on overhead and underground power lines and in substations and large facilities. These concepts are expanded to cover the many electrical safety issues involving industrial and utilities in construction, maintenance and operations. This course provides the foundation for overall electrical safety procedures that can significantly reduce the risk of serious injury accidents.
