Why Should You Take this Lead Project Designer Course?
This Lead Project Designer course meets EPA or EPA-Authorized State training requirements for those individuals that will prepare abatement project designs, occupant protection plans, and abatement reports. A Lead Project Designer is a certified individual who after reviewing inspections and all possible methods of abatement, designs a plan to permanently eliminate lead-based paint hazards in a residential dwelling or child-occupied facility. The project designer designs the blueprint for the project and oversees all activities. Regulations require that an individual wishing to be certified as a Project Designer first successfully complete the Supervisor class and have a certain amount of education and experience.
Who should attend our Lead Project Designer course?
Anyone wishing to be involved in the preparation of:
Compliance Standard: 40 CFR 745.226 - Certification of individuals and firms engaged in lead-based paint activities: target housing and child-occupied facilities.
