In this MB 200 - Medical Billing course, students learn the billing process for both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Participants will be trained to convert a medical procedure, diagnosis, or symptom into specific codes in order to submit a claim to insurance providers, government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) or directly to patients for reimbursement. Participants also get hands-on experience working with Medisoft, commonly-used practice management software.
