Why Should You Take This Understanding Green Roofs Webinar?
From improved quality of the outdoor air, to promoting biodiversity and providing open space, this course reveals the benefits of implementing a green roof on a building project. Students will be introduced to the topic of why green roofs are beneficial to the environment and an owner's economic bottom line. Lisa did a great job explaining the process and principles of what goes into building a green roof. Furthermore the explained the benefits of what a green roof has on environment and biodiversity impacts, energy savings cost reductions for replacing roofs, and most importantly creating green and open space! I liked the graphics and precedence studies Lisa focused on to better explain the process on how to build both intensive and extensive green roof systems. This webinar is a must for those wanting more education on sustainable building systems. Mark S.
