Why Should You Take This Intro to Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Webinar?
Learn about the project delivery method known as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), specifically as a way of achieving LEED or green building design and construction goals while keeping costs and delays at a minimum. The webinar will discuss key components of IPD, the difference between IPD vs. Design-Bid-Build, and ways to structure IPD contracts over the course of 1 hour.
Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be able to specify the primary purpose and benefits of practicing integrated project delivery. They will also be able to identify the primary components of an integrated green building strategy, and be able to compare it to a conventional design-bid-build approach. Finally, participants will understand provisions that may need to be included in IPD contractual arrangements.

Interesting topic, however, I would have liked to have heard more real world situations where the topics were in play, rather than have someone read the slides from the presentation. She did provide some examples however, trying to keep the audience engaged. Peter L.

I would have preferred less text on white power point slides and graphic illustrations to enhance the presentation. Most architects are graphically orientated and as they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words. It was a bit challenging to follow. Bert C.

The instructor was very good in explaining the main components of IPD delivery system and relating them to LEED projects. I give 4 starts instead of 5 stars, because of lack of images and visual communication in the slides. This course is conducted as a live instructor-led webinar. Further details will be provided to you prior to the course.
