Why Should You Take This LEED NC: Bridging the Gap From v2 to v3 Webinar?
In June 2009, USGBC released version 3.0 of its LEED green building rating system. This webinar provides information on the changes that occurred in the LEED for New Construction and Major Renovations rating system from the previous version. We will briefly review the basics of LEED including terminology and the components of the system such as prerequisites and credits. The instructor will then introduce the updates to the overall system and detail the specifics concerning LEED NC v3.
Upon completion of the webinar, students will be able to apply their understanding of the registration and certification requirements of LEED NC v3. They will also be able to identify the differences between versions 2 and 3 of LEED in terms of referenced standards, Exemplary Performance opportunities, and Prerequisites. In addition, they will be familiar with the new and updated features of the LEED 2009 Rating Systems and Processes, such as the new Regional Priority category.
This course is conducted as a live instructor-led webinar. Further details will be provided to you prior to the course.
