The Continuing Education (CE) Program at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH) is a diverse, interdisciplinary program that has provided courses in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for Region 8 since the Center was funded in 1978. It continues to be a primary OSH CE resource in Region 8 (UT, CO, MT, ND, SD, WY). Other than the RMCOEH, there are few opportunities in this region for comparable continuing education that covers such a wide variety of subject areas from a single provider to address this trend. These subject areas cover industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, occupational nursing, safety and ergonomics, asbestos, lead, and hazardous waste. This program is authorized to offer OSHA Education Center courses as well as National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences courses.
