Why Should You Take This Introduction to Life Cycle Assessments Webinar?
This introductory, 1-hour webinar provides an overview of performing a life cycle assessment and life cycle cost analysis. It will discuss the importance of making well-informed decisions about products or processes, based on environmental impacts and future expenses. The course will also provide insight on the relationship between green building goals, integrated project delivery, and life cycle assessments.
Students will be introduced to the topic of why traditional methods of choosing between products or processes often overlook future environmental burdens, as well as future monetary issues, such as operations and maintenance cost savings, energy and water cost savings, and costs of replacement repair or disposal.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to specify the components of a life cycle assessment and a life cycle cost analysis, and be able to analyze the difference between traditional decision-making versus using life cycles.
This course is conducted as a live instructor-led webinar. Further details will be provided to you prior to the course.
