LEED® Charrette Facilitation
Each and every LEED® project requires an initial kick-off meeting in order to ensure that all team members are up to speed on their responsibilities. Given the broad amount of inromation to be covered and the opverlap of multiple credits, the facilitation of a charrette can be a challenging task. Leveraging the experience of our sustainable design professionals is a guaranteed approach to starting your project off on the right foot.
A LEED® Charrette typically takes 1-2 days depending on the project scope and will result in a roadmap for the success of your LEED® project. All stakeholders will leave with a clear understanding of their requirements as it pertains to their respective disciplines. The team as a whole will participate in the analysis of what points are feasible within the context of your project.
LEED® Expediting / Project Management
Here at Green Education Services, we understand the importance of encouraging & creating a positive collaboration across disciplines on any given green project. We serve as the glue in the joints of your LEED® project and assist the Team every step of the way to attain LEED® certification.
As part of our standard Project Management package, we handle every aspect of the LEED® Certification from project registration down to credit submittal reviews to make sure every opportunity to achieve LEED® points is executed properly. Project milestones/timelines will be set and we will participate in weekly or bi-weekly project meetings.
It’s extremely important to utilize not only a whole-building approach in implementing LEED® projects, but also a whole-team approach. Even though we may be directly contracted with only the Owner or Architect, we will assist the whole project team every step along the way to ensure our goals are met.
