Course Description
This introductory seminar will provide an overview of energy efficiency initiatives, specific to consumption within buildings. It will also provide an overview of renewable energy options as well as ways to protect the atmosphere through refrigerant management. The seminar will place an emphasis on minimizing the use of standard grid based energy from coal fired power plants, and eliminating the use of CFC-based mechanical cooling equipment.
