Intern Architect

Fleetwood / Fernandez is a small architecture and interior design studio that loves a big idea. We are a growing collaborative office that looks to bring a strong creative process to a wide array of projects types, ranging from single-family residential to commercial office interiors and restaurants.

We have an immediate opening for an Intern Architect / Designer with 1-4 years of experience. We are seeking candidates that are strong verbal and written communicators, creative conceptual thinkers, and technically proficient. Since we are a small office, candidates must also be enthusiastic, team oriented, and willing to take on small everyday tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university
  • 1-4 years of professional work experience primarily in interior commercial architecture  
  • Experience in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Experience sourcing and specifying FF&E
  • Ability to produce presentation deliverables using Rhino, Maxwell, Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketchup. Revit a plus.
  • LEED accreditation a plus.
  • Current residence in the Los Angeles area and legal ability to work in the US
