BPI Building Analyst certification is the nation's most widely recognized energy auditor certification for residential homes. Focusing on the house as a system approach, BPI emphasizes the interdependence of building systems as they relate to energy consumption. This seminar provides an introduction to green building and sustainable design principles, specifically as they relate to USGBC's LEED Rating System. It prepares individuals to pass the LEED Green Associate exam and is the first step in becoming a LEED professional.
This course will prepare candidates to become an expert in green building as a LEED AP with a specialization in the Green Building Design and Construction (BD+C) Rating System. BD+C is the most utilized LEED rating system, and is applicable for most new construction or major renovations of a commercial, institutional, or high-rise residential project.
