Enhance your skills and propel yourself and your company ahead of the competition with the five-day (40 hours) BPI Shell and Envelope Professional Certification. This course is a residential specialization that focuses on ways to enhance the building envelope's thermal and pressure boundaries through insulation and air sealing techniques. Candidates are required to be certified as a BPI Building Analyst prior to earning this certification.

Why Should You Attend This Workshop?

If your company is in an energy-efficiency industry field, such as weatherization or insulation, the BPI Envelope certification paired with the Building Analyst certification will make your company eligible to apply for BPI Accreditation. This accreditation can be useful for acquiring grants and incentives in states throughout the US.

For individuals, this course prepares you to not only understand how to analyze a home, but also why this process is so important. While being able to identify the issues occurring in the home are key, understanding why problems related to the building envelope developed in the first place is critical as every home is unique.
