Students will be introduced to the topic of why green roofs are beneficial to the environment and an owner's economic bottom line. The course will also discuss strategies and technologies associated with green roofs, as well as different types and the benefits and concerns with each.

More research to show more innovative and distinctive projects would be a good idea... students frequently know more uptodate projects than what is shown on the powerpoint.
